Ebinuma Masashi will be a candidate for the IJF Athletes Commission

Mr.Ebinuma Masashi will represent the athletes of the All Japan Judo Federation in the election for the IJF Athletes Commission. The election will be held at this summer’s World Championships in Budapest, with votes being casted by the participating athletes. The new athletes commission will be announced on September 2nd, the term being four years, from 2017 to 2020. The commission will be comprised of 9 Judokas worldwide, with main responsibilities being: act as a spokesperson between athletes and the IJF, working in education and professional careers of athletes after retirement and promoting women’s Judo.
